High collar lock washers are thicker to stand higher between fastener head. Split helical design locks fastener to prevent loosening. 18-8 stainless steel. The outside diameter of the Hi-Collar Lock Washer fits into the counterbored hole that accepts a standard Socket Head Cap Screw.
